| AGV Being Unloaded |
|
We can provide new or remanufactured Automatic Guided Vehicle Systems (AGVS) that are simple yet very efficient at moving products. We Remanufacture several different types of Tow Tug vehicles (mules) which are relativly inexpensive and simple to maintain. A vehicle of this type with trailers cost about the same as two forklifts and has a lower maintenance cost and doesn't require an operator. These can be very benificial to all types of companies who need to move loads a substantial distance (300' or more) as once the system is put into operation there are very minimal cost per move. This can be a considerable benifit to a company whose profit per pallet is very small such as with disposable or packaging items, especially those that do not nest, like cans or plastic bottles. Using a human driven vehicle to make these moves may cost up to a dollar per pallet per move. While we have AGV systems moving a 1000 pallets per day for about $20.00 of electricty to recharge their batteries. Overall a company can increase their productivity, become more competitive in the market place and then increase their workforce. |

| We currently have in stock used Barrett Fork Lift AGVs capable of carrying 2000# Loads and handling them at floor level to 48" or anywhere in between. These would work great in steady repetive load movement operations, moving items between machines or processes, unloading a palletizer, any low throughput repetitive shift after shift function. They can work at a fixed and steady rate more efficently then human operators. Think you have a possible application, call and we would be happy to discuss. The cost of such a vehicle may suprise you. |
